llms.txt
llms.txt is a plain-text file at a website's root — yoursite.com/llms.txt — that lists the site's most important pages and summarises what the site is about, in a format written for large language models. The format was proposed in 2024 and is documented at llmstxt.com.

What it contains
A short description of the site, then a list of the pages that matter, with one-line summaries. Ours lives at /llms.txt and includes our pages, our services and the answers we give most often.
Why it matters for AI answers
It gives AI systems a machine-readable index of what exists and what may be said — including what must not be claimed. That removes a common source of misquoting: a model guessing what a business does from page snippets.
What it is not
Not a ranking signal, not a sitemap replacement, and not a guarantee of citation. Search engines use the XML sitemap; AI systems may read llms.txt. Both are cheap to maintain, so we ship both.
Who reads it
AI crawlers and answer systems that choose to, and humans who want a plain-language map of a site. Because it costs almost nothing and can only clarify, the sensible default is to publish one.
Questions
Does llms.txt replace my sitemap?
No. The XML sitemap is for search engines; llms.txt is a plain-language index for AI systems. They solve different problems and we publish both.
How do I create one?
Write a short description of the site, then list your most important pages with one-line summaries, and save it as llms.txt at your domain root. We build ours automatically from the same data as our sitemap, so the two never drift.
Tell us what you need. Send a few rough lines and we will come back with a scope, a fixed price and a delivery date in writing.
