How a build runs

Tell us the idea. What you do, who buys from you, what the site needs to do. Rough lines are plenty.
Agree the details. One scope, one price, one delivery date, in writing, before you pay anything.
Try it, tweak it. You get a private preview link and tell us what to change. Revisions inside the agreed scope are included.
Take the keys. The site, the accounts and the passwords are handed over. We keep no spare key.

What we will not promise

We will not promise a ranking position, a number of enquiries, or that a website will fix a business problem that is not a website problem. What we will do is write down the scope, build it properly and hand you something you own outright. If a cheaper option is genuinely the right call for you, we will say so.

If your site already exists

You may not need a new build at all. a redesign or repair is often the sensible first step, and search optimisation or integrations can be done on the site you already have.

Questions

Can I edit the website myself after launch?

Yes for text and images if you are comfortable in code, and the handover document shows you where everything lives. If you would rather not touch it, edits are quoted as small fixed-price pieces — or we add a simple editor for the parts that change often, such as prices or a menu.

What do you need from me to start?

A conversation about the business, whatever you already have — logo, photographs, a menu, existing text — and answers to questions about what the site must do. We ask in one batch rather than through the build, because missing content delays a project far more than missing code.

How do you price a project?

With one fixed price, agreed in writing before anything starts. The quote sets out the scope, the revision allowance and the delivery date. There is no hourly meter running while we work, and no retainer afterwards.

Who owns the finished website?

You do. The code, the domain, the hosting account and the email addresses are registered in your name, not ours. If we disappeared tomorrow, your website would not notice.

How long does it take?

Simple sites take days. Larger builds depend on their scope, and every quote includes an expected delivery date. Revisions inside the agreed scope are part of the deal, not an extra.
