A restaurant website that books, not just broadcasts.

A restaurant's website has one job: turn a search into a booking or an order, on the page, without handing the customer to a delivery app. That means the menu as real text, hours and location above the fold, booking that works on a phone, and photography sized for the screen in your customer's hand.

The short answer

Menu in text. Booking on the page. Order direct.

Most restaurant sites fail the same way: a stock hero image, a PDF menu nobody can read on a phone, and a booking link that leaves the site. The fix is unglamorous: searchable text, a working reservation flow, and the four answers every hungry visitor wants — when you are open, what you serve, where you are, how to book.

Why it pays

Around 84% of diners check menus online before choosing a restaurant (TouchBistro, reported by Modern Restaurant Management), and roughly 31% of US restaurants still have no dedicated website at all (National Restaurant Association, 2024). Delivery apps take an estimated 15–30% commission per order; a direct-order button keeps that margin. The website is the one channel you own.

What we built: Casa Verde

Casa Verde is a demo build, not client work — we label it as a demo everywhere it appears. It is a single page that carries the evening: type, dark ground, food photography sized for a phone, a reservation panel (party size, date, confirmation step) and the menu as text, so it is searchable and copyable. Open the demo or read the case study.

What a real restaurant build includes

What it costs and how long

Restaurants are quoted like every other build: one fixed price, agreed in writing, with a delivery date — simple sites take days. For market context, our 2026 price research puts small business websites between $1,000 and $15,000 depending on scope. See what a website costs in 2026.

Questions

Can you add online ordering?

Yes, where the provider has a usable API or embed. We wire ordering to a provider you already trust rather than moving you onto something new, and we say so before building if a provider cannot do what you need.

How long does a restaurant site take?

Simple sites take days; larger builds depend on scope and every quote carries a delivery date. Most of the elapsed time is content and approvals, so the faster you answer questions, the faster it ships.

Do you run our Instagram or delivery accounts?

No. We build websites. Social channels and delivery-app accounts stay yours — we make sure the site points to them cleanly and the details agree across all of them.

Tell us what you need. Send a few rough lines and we will come back with a scope, a fixed price and a delivery date in writing.
