A redesign, or a few careful repairs.
Some sites need rebuilding and some need four things fixed. We inspect the site, tell you which one you are looking at, and quote the smaller option when it is the honest answer — awkward layouts, broken features and pages that fail on a phone are usually repairable.
Reviewed September 20, 2026. Prices are quoted per project; nothing on this page is a published price list.
The short answer
Repair first, rebuild only if repairs cost more than they are worth.
You get a written list of what we found, which items we would fix first, and what a rebuild would cost instead. Then you choose. No pressure either way.
What usually needs repairing
- Layouts that break between phone sizes, or text that is unreadable without zooming.
- Forms that do not deliver, or that deliver to an address nobody reads.
- Slow pages — oversized images, videos loaded before anyone asks for them, fonts that re-download on every visit.
- Duplicate or missing page titles and descriptions, so search engines guess.
- Pages nobody can find from the navigation.
What a redesign changes
A redesign keeps your business the same and rebuilds the presentation: new structure, new type, new images, the same offer. We keep what works — the page that brings in enquiries, the descriptions that already rank — and rebuild around it rather than throwing the whole thing away.
What it costs
Repairs are quoted as a fixed number per item, so you can pick the first three and stop. A redesign is quoted like a new build. Either way the price is agreed in writing before anything starts.
Before and after
Our three building a website demos are hand-built sites you can open: a restaurant, a plumber and a roofer. They are demo builds, made by us to show the work, not client projects.
Questions
How do I know whether I need repairs or a rebuild?
We inspect the site and give you a written list: what is broken, what it would cost to repair, and what a rebuild would cost instead. If repairs are the honest answer we quote repairs, even though a rebuild is the larger job for us.
Will a redesign hurt my search rankings?
It can, if URLs, page titles or content are thrown away carelessly. That is why we keep what already works, carry redirects for anything that moves, and list what changed so you can see the difference in Search Console rather than guessing.
How do you price a project?
With one fixed price, agreed in writing before anything starts. The quote sets out the scope, the revision allowance and the delivery date. There is no hourly meter running while we work, and no retainer afterwards.
Who owns the finished website?
You do. The code, the domain, the hosting account and the email addresses are registered in your name, not ours. If we disappeared tomorrow, your website would not notice.
How long does it take?
Simple sites take days. Larger builds depend on their scope, and every quote includes an expected delivery date. Revisions inside the agreed scope are part of the deal, not an extra.
Tell us what you need. Send a few rough lines and we will come back with a scope, a fixed price and a delivery date in writing.
