What a one-page website costs.

A one-page website costs anywhere from about $300 to $2,500 from budget studios and freelancers, with the wider 2026 market between $1,000 and $15,000 depending on what the page has to do. A single page still has to introduce the business, answer the four questions every visitor asks and take the enquiry — the budget goes into the copy and the design, not the page count.

The short answer

$300–$2,500 budget band. $1,000–$15,000 the wider market.

The published prices from budget studios and freelancers run from about $300 to $2,500 for a single page, and the wider market data for small business websites sits between $1,000 and $15,000. Where you land depends on what the page must do: a page that only says who you are costs less than one that takes bookings, payments or enquiries.

Why page count is the wrong measure

One page still has to do everything: who you are, what you do, why you can be trusted, and how to contact you — plus the mobile layout, the load speed and the copy that does the selling. The work is concentrated, not removed. A cheap one-pager often means template art and thin copy; a priced one means the page was written to convert.

What moves the price

What a Firmitas one-page build includes

Design agreed against a reference you approve, hand-written pages, the enquiry route wired in, launch with domain and email registered in your name, and a handover document with every account and password. One fixed price, quoted in writing with a delivery date — we do not publish build prices because scope is what moves them: how fixed pricing works.

One page or two?

Sometimes the honest answer is a second page: separate service pages let each service rank for its own search, and a contact page gives the main page room to sell. If your business has three distinct offers, ask whether one long page or three short ones serves the visitor better — we will tell you which we think is right, even when it is the smaller job.

The costs after launch

Two small recurring costs remain no matter who builds the site: the domain (usually around $10–$20 a year) and hosting (often free, or a few dollars a month, for a static site). Optional help — monitoring, updates, backups — starts at $45 a month on our written care plans, with no contract; a quiet static site may never need it.

Questions

How much does a one-page website cost?

Budget studios and freelancers publish about $300–$2,500 for a single page, and the wider 2026 market data for small business websites sits between $1,000 and $15,000 depending on scope. Where you land depends on what the page must do — photography, working forms or bookings, and the copy all move the price.

Is a one-page website enough for a small business?

Often yes, if the business has one clear offer: a single page that answers who you are, what you do, why you can be trusted and how to contact you can convert well. The moment you have several distinct services that people search for separately, separate pages usually serve both visitors and search better — ask, and we will tell you which fits.
